The Sr. QA Automation Analyst tests software, hardware compatibility and functionality to assess product design, ease of use, quality and reliability.  Documents defects into a tracking system, participates in evaluations and provides insight to developers. Verifies bug fixes and will perform regression testing.  Advises QA team on continuous improvement possibilities and may lead approved initiatives to completion.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute Automation scripts using Selenium Webdriver (C# , Java)
  • Write and execute API test (Soap, Rest API)
  • Plan, write, and execute test cases based on requirements using Test Management Tool (JIRA, Zephyr)
  • Write and execute SQL query to test back-end process
  • Perform various type of testing from web/UI with multiple browser, mobile device, API, and back-end
  • Record test result, report, and manage defects using standard QA process
  • Troubleshoot complex setup to replicate and determine root cause
  • Work with Project Manager, Developer, and Business Analyst to identify test cases and provide project status

 

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or other related filed; or the equivalent amount of hands on experience working in a QA role
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
  • 5+ years of experience with API testing
  • 5+ year of experience with Test Automation tool using Selenium Webdriver (c#, java), proficiency is essential and required
  • Hands-on experience in working with automation framework and developing automated test scripts
  • Experience performing Load/Performance testing preferred
  • Demonstrated the ability to perform all type of testing
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in both technical and non-technical
  • Experience with SDLC and Agile methodology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical cross functional teams
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a client-centric, deadline driven atmosphere
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points in a collaborative atmosphere
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, self-motivation, optimism, good-humor
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Suite
