Savio Management Group (SMG) a division of Savio House, is seeking a full-time Junior Technical Product Manager. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and is comfortable working with minimal supervision, under the direction of the SMG Coordinator.
SMG provides fiscal management and custom database development and support to state and local agencies to manage public dollars to provide community-based services to clients and families involved in the juvenile justice and child welfare systems. SMG works with their partners to manage budgets, initiate and track service referrals, process provider billing, estimate fiscal projections and provide fiscal and program reporting for our clients.
This position will be the primary support for users on the customized database, including the gathering of requirements, testing of new development and training and support to users on functionality.
Develop a training program and tools for internal and external users
Control scope among and between clients and contracts to ensure projects stay within budget and achieve project goals
Support ongoing training needs of internal and external users on existing and new features
Develop a strategic plan for continued enhancement and marketability of database applications
Provide strategic direction on training and functionality documentation
Explore and identify new business opportunities that fit SMG’s fiscal management and customized database application expertise
Partner with SMG Coordinator to develop and implement plans for business development
Provide configuration of database applications, as necessary by the contract
Provide configuration support to clients in custom database applications to ensure appropriate permissions for users, access to needed business processes, and adherence to security to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations of personal information
As needed, support SMG team members to complete the financial management aspect of our contracts, including monthly billing processing, generation of fiscal reports for clients, and partnering on the conduct of quality assurance checks of data
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
2 years of product management, business Analyst or implementation consulting experience
Preferred: 3-5 years of requirements development, software training, implementation consulting, software configuration and training, documentation writing, tier 1 support
