Bilingual At-Risk Youth & Family Screener/Rapid Responder

Savio House, a private, non-profit agency is seeking a full-time Bilingual (Spanish) At-Risk Youth & Family Screener/Rapid Responder. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and is passionate about doing whatever it takes to help at-risk youth and families.

The successful candidate will work with a team of three and is able to reach out to families; with primary responsibilities to include ensuring the strong organizational skills, empathy, and compassion towards our families in a very non-judgmental manner.

Duties include:

  • Screen Referrals & triage utilizing selected assessment tools
  • Respond to referrals within 24 to 48 hours
  • Providing guidance to referral sources regarding available services for adolescents
  • Collaborate with referral sources & families
  • Participate in court proceedings
  • Maintain & manage collaborative relationships with referral sources
  • Case Management skills as needed to fullfill unique family needs
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Communication to critical stakeholders: Court, mental health, juvenile justice, child welfare
  • Knowledge of multiple agencies systems, policies, and practices
  • Solutions and results-focused
  • Knowledge of community-based services & supports
  • High level of organization


  • Minimum: Bachelors in Human Services Degree required
  • 21 years or older
  • Preferred: 1 year post grad experience, or internship
  • Case Management experience highly preferred
  • Experience with at-risk populations

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to walk, climb, bend, stoop, push, pull, and balance efficiently
