Analytical Scientist

Employee Responsibilities:

  • Execute experiments utilizing analytical methods to support preclinical pharmaceutical product development activities

  • Use analytical techniques and instrumentation, such HPLC and spectroscopy

  • Prepare test solutions, compounds and reagents

  • Maintain  laboratory instruments to ensure proper working order and troubleshoot malfunctions when needed

  • Be the owner of technical data you generate

  • Read, write, and prepare presentations of technical data

  • Maintain  proper laboratory notebooks and compliance

  •  Prepare  solutions and culture media

  • Work   independently and efficiently

  • Communicate effectively with client staff members

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • Hands-on experience in chromatography and spectroscopy analytical techniques and instrumentation

  • Experience with Empower Software is a plus

  • Demonstrated expertise with GXP compliance, documentation, technical writing (procedures and policies) is a plus

  • Highly-Flexible and adaptable. Working collaboratively in cross-functional teams

  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience

  • Minimum of 1 year GMP related laboratory experience

  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
