Lab Attendant Lead Job Description:

Coordinates work schedules of Lab Attendants while also providing lab support to the members of the lab. This position will be required to fill in for Lab Attendants during absences.

 

Lab Attendant Lead Required Tasks:

 

  • Coordinates work schedules of Lab Attendants
  • Supervises small teams
  • Fill in for Lab Attendants during absences
    • Responsible for opening and securing the lab
    • Greets/escorts guests throughout the lab
    • Supports program and site security as required to support the lab
    • Ensures security paperwork exists for all visitors
    • Completes and maintains lab visitor forms for all visitors
    • Ensures database is kept up-to-date with security access information
    • Input movement of parts through the lab using web-based tools
    • Coordinates with security and others and all tours through the lab
    • Helps ensure that electronic devices are not brought into the lab
    • Adheres to all established customer’s security and safety procedures and guidelines
    • Adheres to customer’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct guidelines
    • May scan inventory
    • Other duties as assigned

 

Lab Attendant Lead Required Skills:

 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Must be reliable, disciplined self-starter able to work without supervision
  • Possesses excellent communication skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

 

Lab Attendant Lead Additional Requirements:

 

  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • A DoD Secret level clearance is required to start
  • Willingness to work overtime (flexibility to work 12 hour shifts and various shifts as needed)
