POSITION: Facilities Technician
DEPARTMENT: Great Hearts Lead Office - Facilities
LOCATION: Various locations
REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Under the direction and leadership of the Facilities Manager and Director of Facilities, the Facilities Technician will work towards attaining maintenance goals and company objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications, Competencies & Strengths
Education/Certification: HS Diploma required, Bachelor degree preferred. Technical degree (HVAC and/or EPA) preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Facilities/Maintenance field.
Type of fingerprint clearance: Must possess or obtain valid Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card.
Equipment used: May need to possess basic tools to perform duties. Specialty tools with be provided.
Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May work in confined spaces and on top of buildings or structures. Will be exposed to inclement weather. May be required to move or position equipment up to 100 pounds approximately.
Travel required: May need to travel locally to the various academies within the Phoenix Metro area. Must have reliable transportation. Valid Arizona driver license required.
