Role: Director of Academy Giving

Purpose: The Director of Academy Giving is a member of the Great Hearts Forest Heights administrative team and is responsible for building and maintaining relationships throughout the campus to drive financial support for the school through the annual giving campaign. As a public charter school, Great Hearts receives the majority of its funding from state and federal governments, however a financial gap exists from this funding and the cost to deliver an exceptional education. The Director of Academy Giving is a key team member charged with telling this story and driving annual financial support from families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education, Experience and Skills: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. A minimum of 2 – 3 years of success in a related role required.
Computer Skills: Strong proficiency with computer skills including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Drive (Docs/Sheets/Slides) and donor databases. Experience managing social media outlets is preferred.
Travel Requirements: May need to travel locally to meet with academy families and attend school activities.
Physical Functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 15 pounds approximately.
