LOCALISATION PROJECT MANAGER - 2K, Central London / Windsor




Who We Are:


2K publishes some of the most popular video games on the planet including Borderlands, BioShock, Mafia, NBA 2K, WWE 2K, XCOM and Sid Meier’s Civilization. Our Localisation team is comprised of highly experienced, Graphic Designers and Creative Project Managers who are passionate about these games and work together to project manage the approval and localisation of packaging whilst designing / amending our artwork. 



Role Purpose:

Reporting into the Director of Creative Services & Localisation, the Localisation Project Manager will take on a key role that will allow the successful individual to play a instrumental part in working with our creative team to help produce ‘print ready’ artwork whilst also project managing the localisation of marketing materials for 2K titles.



Responsibilities:
 

  • To manage the packaging localisation process for allocated titles.
  • Manage the packaging component sign off approval process both internally and with 1st parties for allocated titles.
  • To closely liaise with internal departments involved in the packaging process.
  • Manage the localisation of Marketing, social media and PR materials.
  • To build and maintain a team relationship within 2K, T2 Group Operations and all associated internal departments
  • Work with the Creative Team to assist with the creation and making amends to packaging or marketing artwork.
  • Ad-hoc tasks as requested.

 

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:
 

  • Understanding of ‘getting a product to market’ and commercial understanding of the entertainment software industry.
  • Proven Project Management experience with an ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of PC and Console gameplay
  • IT Literacy with an understanding with one or more of the following:
  • Mac literate
  • JD Edwards
  • Microsoft Office
  • Xloc – Localisation Management Tool
  • FTP Software
  • Various Text and XML format software required by each Developer
  • Spoken / Written language other than English would be highly desirable but not essential for this role.
