Who We Are:


2K develops and publishes interactive entertainment for console, PC and mobile platforms. Our world-class team of engineers, developers, graphic artists, data analytics experts, and publishing professionals are stewards of a growing library of critically acclaimed game franchises such as BioShock, Borderlands, Battleborn, The Darkness, Mafia, NBA 2K, Sid Meier’s Civilization, WWE 2K, and XCOM.



What We Need:


Our Recruiting team is responsible for staffing a wide range of roles across 2K Publishing. We work with everyone from Software Engineers, Motion Capture Stage Techs, Brand Managers, Data Analytics, to VP’s of Marketing, and everything in between.  We are looking for a “player-coach” who has experience managing a small team of recruiters, in a fast-moving, high-growth tech environment. Ideally, you are proven tech industry recruiter who can manage, mentor and train a small strategic team of full life cycle recruiters.



What You Will Do:
 

We are looking for a senior recruiting leader, with the maturity and experience to collaborate with department leaders cross functionally to meet the 2K publishing hiring goals. You will manage and support the recruiting team to drive our recruiting processes, ensuring a personalized, targeted and amazing candidate experience.  You will help foster an awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusiveness strategies to incorporate into every facet of our overall recruiting strategy.
 

  • Directly manage recruiters and resources in daily operations, for example: assign workloads to various recruiters to meet changing demands across publishing
  • Solve problems and produce solutions by critically thinking, collecting and analyzing data, and identifying alternatives when circumstances change
  • Mentor recruiting team, including coaching of team members and participating in growth conversations. Create an environment on your team, which inspires creativity and fosters trust
  • Bring fresh ideas to help optimize our existing processes while expanding our candidate reach and improving our pipeline health
  • Create metrics and measures of success, regularly reporting to the team and leadership on goal progress and trends, drive regular progress reporting
  • With our Player-Coach model, you will also be personally responsible for recruiting on some open roles as needed
  • Taleo end user troubleshooting/Taleo Admininstrator addressing issues as they may arise

Minimum Requirements Include:

  • BS/BA degree
  • Passion for video games is a huge plus!
  • Expert level experience using and managing Recruiting ATS tools, i.e. Taleo, Greenhouse or similar.
  • 7+ years of experience with full-cycle recruiting, ideally in a tech industry environment, with the ability to motivate and coach recruiters to hone their craft.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience managing a recruiting team.
  • Experience setting goals and managing the performance, development and work product of others.
  • Ability to grow and manage a high volume pipeline of candidates as well as teach, coach and mentor others to be able to do the same.
  • Coach and train recruiters and hiring managers on building and optimizing a structured interview processes, using industry best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
