Are you a recruiter with lots of experience hiring digital artists and animators who come from game development, visual effects or film animation? If so, we may need you on our team! We are a small group of experienced game industry recruiters, and we are responsible for driving hiring for one of the most successful growth companies in the video games industry. Our recruiters source & recruit qualified candidates for open roles at Hangar 13. You will collaborate with hiring managers to drive candidate-hiring process forward including: create new job descriptions, sourcing and building your own candidate pipeline, manage candidate-testing, interview and evaluate candidates’ potential fit for hire, organize interview schedules, and close offers.
What You Will Do:
Your primary focus will be filling open positions in our studio development teams including digital artists, animators, game designers, producers and other roles as needed.
Participate in all recruiting events including but not limited to job fairs, on-campus recruiting, open houses, and public speaking events
Proactively research and be aware of current industry events, trends, and how to use that intel to our advantage
You will do active candidate sourcing, cold calling, and aggressively look for creative ways to find the talent we need
Develop and maintain relationships with industry colleagues, colleges, agencies, and other sources of high-quality candidates
We would prefer someone who can be onsite in our studio location in Brighton at least a couple days per week
This is a fixed-term position.

Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years minimum experience recruiting digital artists, tech artists, animators, designers etc. Strong artistic and technical fluency is required in order to support these hiring teams.
Preferred candidate will have 1+ years’ experience as an in-house recruiter in video game development/or creative studio environment (video games, animation, VFX)
Experience and ability to review art portfolios and evaluate them against the needs of our teams and projects.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work with swiftly changing priorities
Accustomed to documenting your work daily in an ATS. Taleo experience is a huge plus
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
Strong interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, email) and use of ATS systems

This role is based at our Brighton location, who partner with the other Hangar 13 sites to develop all of our games as one global team. Hangar 13’s Brighton location provides the opportunity to work on big-budget, AAA console and PC games in the coolest city in the UK!
