Our Agoura Hills studio is looking to fill the unique and newly-created position of WWE2K Community Commissioner. Part product manager, part game designer, and part community advocate, the Community Commissioner functions as both a lead developer and player representative. As a developer, you’ll own the WWE2K22 Superstar roster, from OVR ratings down to the smallest detail, to make certain that every wrestler in our game is represented as faithfully as possible. As a player representative, you’ll own all our development media channels, providing updates to our community, constantly harvesting player input, and planning and executing events to capture feedback and shape feature development across the game.  


What You'll Do

  • Own the WWE2K22 Superstar roster, maintaining data while fielding input and requests from gameplay, career, online, showcase, audio and story teams
  • Coordinate with publishing stakeholders and own our community channels to share roster details, development updates, design diaries, and game progress as appropriate 
  • Be the voice of our community: solicit, consolidate and prioritize feedback to make sure our team of developers constantly has input available to guide their efforts; work with every sub-team on the game to provide an expert perspective on high value features, tone, and portrayal of varied elements of the WWE
  • Recruit community thought leaders and organize events to capture feedback on pre-release features and gameplay; construct reports and presentations to communicate that feedback to the team 


Requirements

  • 4+ years of community leadership, content creation or product management for a major game franchise
  • Demonstrated ability to build and connect with fan communities
  • In-depth knowledge of WWE Superstars, history, events and methods
  • Experience setting clear goals, planning and delivering features with cross-functional teams and multiple competing requirements
  • Experience with multiple community platforms, from web to social media to voice server
  • Outstanding project management capabilities, documentation, tracking and transparency
  • Attention to detail and completeness, ability to see around corners, anticipate issues
  • Organized, excellent communication skills, passion for games, collaborative demeanor


Preferred Qualifications

  • Graphic design and web development skills
  • Familiarity with WWE2K Universe and Creative suite
  • Game design experience in systems, combat and/or scripting
  • Familiarity with game development tooling and software: Perforce, JIRA, game editors
  • Scathing wit, piercing intellect, nerves of steel
