Olgoonik Solutions, LLC, requires a Telecommunications Technician to support requirements to install a fully functional communications network in Liberia. This position requires on-site, in-country performance for the duration of the contract.
The Telecommunications Technician will work alongside installation teams in the field to solve problems, assess situations and apply solutions with a high level of understanding, knowledge, and skills in the telecommunications, radio, microwave, and networking fields. The Telecommunications Technician shall have advanced knowledge and ability to apply applicable international, national, and local standards for installation and configuration of IP-based trunked radio and microwave network solutions.
The Telecommunications Technician will be part of a team traveling to sites in-country to perform telecommunication systems installations. The Telecommunications Technician will be responsible for conducting and supervising install teams for microwave and radio systems siting, installation, configuration, and commissioning support on a wide range of mobile and permanent radio systems.

This position is deployed up to 90% of the calendar year in Liberia. Domestic travel within Liberia is required for this particular project.
Work is regularly performed outdoors in all types of weather conditions, including. May be exposed to extreme temperatures, hot and cold, as part of environmental factors. Work may be performed near moving mechanical parts and/or vibrations. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. Work is also performed indoors in an office/warehouse environment.
