MTEQ is a lead sensor system integrator focused on providing advanced sensor technology to address C4ISR mission requirements. MTEQ provides a broad range of technical support across two divisions. Our Technical Services Division provides research, development, analysis and field service support to advance the architecting and fielding of advanced sensor systems for ISR and Force Protection missions. Our System Division provides the engineering design, development of complete and integrated solutions from hardware to software for sensors, systems and command and control architecture.

MTEQ is seeking to hire a highly motivated and very professional Receptionist/Office Administrator to support our Technical Services Division at our Lorton, VA office.


  • Greet clients, guests and visitors in a professional, friendly manner.
  • Pick up, sort and distribute mail and deliveries on a daily basis.
  • Perform reception duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with catering requests and coordinate logistics and access requirements.
  • Order, maintain, and stock coffee and office supplies.
  • Schedule conference rooms upon request from staff and maintain conference room schedules in Outlook, assist with meeting coordination.
  • Maintain reception and conference room areas and refill snacks and drinks as needed; control inventory relevant to reception area.
  • Administer all incoming phone calls and ensure all calls are redirected accordingly.
  • Take messages as needed; provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, and other related information.
  • Manage, organize, and update relevant employee data and contact lists.
  • Travel coordination and expense reporting.
  • Perform other administrative duties that are normally assigned by management.


  • Associates degree and minimum of 2 years' experience; or Bachelors degree and minimum 1 year of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation – will need the ability to run errands. 
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize job responsibilities and duties.
  • Excellent customer-service skills.


  • Experience supporting human resource functions such as recruiting.
  • Experience supporting facility and personnel security functions.
