MTEQ is a lead sensor system integrator focused on providing advanced sensor technology to address C4ISR mission requirements. MTEQ provides a broad range of technical support across two divisions. Our Technical Services Division provides research, development, analysis and field service support to advance the architecting and fielding of advanced sensor systems for ISR and Force Protection missions. Our System Division provide the engineering design, development of complete and integrated solutions from hardware to software for sensors, systems and command and control architecture.

MTEQ is seeking to hire a highly motivated and very professional Office Administrator to support our Technical Services Division at our Lorton office. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients, guests and visitors in a professional, friendly manner.
  • Picks up, sorts and distributes mail and deliveries on a daily basis.
  • Performs reception duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
  • Assists with catering requests and coordinates logistics and access requirements.
  • Orders, maintains, and stocks coffee and office supplies.
  • Schedules conference rooms upon request from staff and maintains conference room schedules in Outlook, assist with meeting coordination.
  • Maintain reception and conference room areas and refill snacks and drinks as needed; control inventory relevant to reception area.
  • Administer all incoming phone calls and ensure all calls are redirected accordingly. Take messages as needed; provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, and other related information.
  • Manages, organizes, and updates relevant employee data and contact lists.
  • Travel Coordination and expense reporting.
  • Perform other administrative duties that are normally assigned by management.


Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation – will need the ability to run errands.  
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize job responsibilities and duties
  • Excellent customer-service skills


Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Associates degree and 2 or more years of experience
  • Bachelors degree and 1 or more years of experience
  • Experience supporting human resource functions such as recruiting is preferred
  • Experience supporting facility and personnel security functions is preferred
