Description

Overview:  IntelliWare is an award-winning national security company with an immediate opening for an experienced Intelligence Analyst to support a federal law enforcement client’s counterintelligence program. The analyst will be assigned as a member of an analytical and operational team working across professional disciplines in support of the client’s national security mission.  The analyst is expected to be well versed in analytical processes and the intelligence cycle, and is expected to have significant professional experience in analysis and operations.  The Analyst will be expected to possess proficiency in researching and manipulating data for analytical assessments; be proficient with Microsoft tools, specifically Excel; be able to produce finished intelligence products and present findings to the client. The Analyst will work closely with other intelligence analysts to draw conclusions based on the data to identify new or unknown threats, indicators, or trends. This position is exempt. 

Clearance:  Active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to pass a polygraph examination if a successful CI polygraph has not been recorded within the past five (5) years.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum five (5) years of analyzing intelligence in the USIC.
  • Subject matter expertise on priority national security targets as they pertain to the USIC.
  • Significant experience in using a wide variety of analytical techniques used to determine and communicate trends and patterns, fill gaps in information and project events, identify anomalies, ascribe meaning to events or information from disparate sources, and develop defensible judgments and conclusions based on accepted research and analytical methodologies.
  • Substantial knowledge of the Intelligence Community resources and a master in acquiring information from intelligence sources to ensure that the information developed is complete, and, where possible, corroborated for accuracy.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with software applications such as Microsoft Access, Excel, Power Point, and Word.
  • Experience with public source databases such as Accurint, Lexis Nexis, and Bloomberg.

Preferred Experience:

  • Counterintelligence analytical experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Location:  Washington, DC

Travel:  Limited CONUS travel may be required
