Overview:  IntelliWare is an award-winning business with an immediate opening for an experienced writer/editor to support a federal law enforcement client’s counterintelligence program. The Analyst will be expected to possess proficiency in writing and editing analytical assessments; be proficient with Microsoft tools, specifically Excel; be able to produce finished intelligence products and present findings to the client.  The Analyst will work closely with other intelligence analysts to draw conclusions based on the data to identify new or unknown threats, indicators, or trends.

Clearance:  Active Top Secret clearance is required at time of application. Will be required to undergo CI polygraph and be successfully adjudicated for SCI access

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a copy editor or intelligence reports writer.
  • Excellent skill in editing reports for grammatical modifications as well as being able to learn and execute client requirements on products such as classification, dissemination, and citation procedures.
  • Knowledge of the Intelligence Community resources and experience in acquiring information from intelligence sources to ensure that the information developed is complete, and, where possible, corroborated for accuracy.
  • Ability to prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and e-mails.
  • Experience in prioritization of projects and have strong problem-solving skills, good research skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience and skill in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, an additional four years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor Degree.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge base in federal law enforcement data-systems.

Location:  Washington, DC

Travel:  Limited CONUS travel may be required.
