Objectives of the Role: 

The Analyst acts as the primary day-to-day contact on project management and execution for client accounts and deliverables, including but not limited to measurement planning, weekly reporting, media and creative tests, media and creative analysis, competitive analysis, and industry research.

Business Responsibilities:

  • Develop project timelines and deliverable schedules
  • Manage projects independently, but proactively communicate project progress, issues, and deliverables to manager and director
  • Ensure all client materials meet or exceed expectations (from content to quality) and are delivered on time
  • Conduct client calls and bring in extended team members when necessary 
  • Develop creative and media strategies in collaboration with other departments
  • Develop measurement plans and reports that are relevant to the client’s business and creative/media testing
  • Research industry trends and facts, sharing expertise with team
  • Understand budget allocation process for media and fees across media platforms
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Skills and Behaviors:

  • Knowledge of media industry research tools including MRI, Media Metrix, Nielsen Net Ratings, Ad Relevance, @Plan, Web Trends, Jupiter, and Forrester
  • Strong understanding of media metrics (e.g. buying models, CPV, VCR, GRP) and quantitative business measures
  • Must take initiative and create opportunities
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully with teams, and work under pressure
  • Advanced Excel skills and understanding of Access and databases
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Omniture or Google Analytics
  • SEO and SEM experience preferred

Qualifications and Other Relevant Information: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years relevant work experience; digital media experience desired
  • Relevant internship experience a plus
