Entry-Level Electrical Engineers – Future or Recent Grad

After rising as the market leader in implantable medical devices for Epilepsy, LivaNova is now aggressively expanding into other neurostimulation applications and ultimately striving towards becoming the top medical device company in the world. We are seeking only the very top Electrical Engineers who will help in the areas of circuit design/analysis, PCB design/layout, firmware/coding, test automation, and ASIC development.  We are looking for only the most driven Electrical Engineers with solid engineering fundamentals.

 

In the first three to six months, you will work and complete;

 

  • Circuit simulation/modeling
  • Bench data collection
  • Scripting & overall test automation
  • Chipset evaluations (e.g Bluetooth, MCUs, accelerometers…)
  • PCB design & layout
  • Hardware/firmware prototyping & evaluation

 

The best EE’s should be internally driven, motivated and have a can-do attitude. Imagine working in a start-up environment, but with stability and brand recognition, that is our environment. You will need to be able to work fast and efficiently. We need people willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. You will need to have earned your degree in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline, and be proficient in fundamental analog circuit theory, modeling, and design (LTSpice, PSpice, Cadence, or other). You must know your way around schematic capture and PCB layout CAD tools (Altium, OrCAD, or other).  Be able and interested in coding scripts, generating firmware, and overall automation (C, C#, Python …).  And  generally , have the desire to be one of the best engineers and be part of our journey to becoming the top medical device company in the world.
