Description

Currently our Andover MA office has a job opportunity for a self-motivated geologist or hydrogeologist with 2-3 years of soil and groundwater investigation/remediation experience to join the office.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growth-oriented professional consulting office.  Candidate will work with and be mentored by strong, nationally recognized, senior technical staff working on a variety of environmental related projects.

Job Expectations:

  • Provide support on a variety of environmental services projects
  • Perform data collection and documentation related to field activities such as site investigation (soil and groundwater), sampling of surface water and stormwater, operation of remedial systems, and remediation construction oversight.
  • Conduct technical evaluations to support planning and design related to environmental investigations/remediation Assist with data reduction/interpretation and the preparation of technical memoranda, reports and design documents
  • Conduct sampling and analysis, and soil boring/monitoring well installation
  • Remediation design and oversight
  • Environmental compliance services

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • B.S. in Geology or Hydrogeology, MS or PhD preferred
  • 2-3 years’ experience required
  • Must be willing to travel and work in the field
  • 40 hour HAZWOPER certification and/or MSHA training a plus
  • Excellent technical writing capabilities required
  • Experience with AutoCad, ArcView GIS, MODFLOW, or well log software a plus.
