Under the direction of the Location Leader responsible for overseeing receiving and/or preparing various products for delivery, warehouse and control functions, and the more complex operation of the facility by performing the following duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work in a safe and efficient manner, according to Ag Partners’ Safety Policy.
  • Utilize good customer service skills at all times, when servicing and greeting customers, and when working with co-workers and other departments within the company.
  • Directly supervises production employees at the location. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complains and resolving problems.
  • Listen to and resolves the more complicated/complex customer complaints and concerns and assist employees in resolving customer complaints or requests. Familiar with company products and services and able to refer customers to appropriate personnel or recommend additional products and services. May consult with customers on their product quality/standards and applications needed in their operation.
  • Demonstrate work habits that develop, build and support the team concept within the organization.
  • Lead the safety program for the facility.
  • Schedule the day-to-day work loads and assigns various job responsibilities.
  • Work with grain operations and grain team leader to ensure most efficient movements of products and grain to and from facilities to generate the maximum return.
  • Meet with other supervisors, location leaders and team leaders to determine various staffing needs and to review production schedules and deadlines.
  • Prepare monthly inventory reports for location.
  • Assist in actual production work wherever needed.
  • Supervise operation of receiving control room, dryers and shuttle train loading.
  • Perform general housekeeping.
  • Perform general repairs at facility.
  • Cultivate a fun and enjoyable workplace for Ag Partners’ employees and customers.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs from the floor to a minimum of 36”.
  • Ability to work in a dust-filled environment and wear a respirator where required.
  • Ability to obtain a Class A CDL


EDUCATION:        Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
