JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
Responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the Grain Marketing Service Representatives and maintaining customer grain relationships.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Other duties may be assigned.
Work in a safe and efficient manner, according to Ag Partners safety policies.
Provides outstanding customer service.
Answer the phone, work with producers, respond to pricing questions, selling, etc.
Assist the MSR with all administrative duties related to grain contracting, including, but not limited to, performing data entry for all purchase contracts in accounting system and managing contract mailing.Perform all entering of CRM contracts in ExtraCense from start to finish.
Call on individuals on the 30 day listing, generate and provide list of Basis to be Rolled & NBE to be rolled.
Inform customers via phone and in person of information released on key crop report days.
Must be a self-motivated individual to stay active during slow times of the year.
Demonstrate work habits that develop, build, and support the team concept within the organization.
Track and manage the flow of inbound grain and outbound feed in the form of corn bushels.
Ability to communicate competition bids, purchases, pricing, space, and quality of grain used in weekly meetings with management team.
Develop sales and marketing techniques to enhance the service to current customers.
Conduct regular outbound grain calls to inform customers of grain prices and build good customer relationships.As well as develop new business through prospecting and outbound marketing.
Must have thorough knowledge of Ag Partners grain programs and policies, along with the ability to describe them to customers.
Provide and conduct training needs of grain, transportation and farmer marketing programs to employees and producers.
Assist MSR with procurement of cash grain.
Serve in a consulting/advisory role with producers.
Abide with state and federal rules and regulations, monitors grain contracts to ensure compliance and works with the auditors to respond to questions and provide appropriate information.
Ability to actively and efficiently utilize IBM Compatible PC, Windows Environment, 10-Key adding machine, fax machine, copier, telephone and voice mail.
Proficient Microsoft Excel skills: Charting, formula based sheets.
Scheduling and organizing producer marketing meetings.
