Job Summary

Manage daily procedures including disposal for cutting fluids, scrap materials and refuse.


Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare purchase orders for cutting fluids, machine tool lubricants, filters and related materials
  • Manage, maintain, clean and continuously implement improvements for the cutting fluid system
  • Maintain working document of coolant % readings for each machine on a weekly basis,  track trends and identify affected machines
  • Properly dispose of waste cutting fluids and lubricants
  • Follow and maintain coolant Preventative Maintenance schedule and documentation
  • Maintain documentation of aluminum scrap inventory and process
  • Manage daily refuse process
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift.
  • Maintain wood pallet organization and disposal
  • Maintain and operate Ultra-Filtration system
  • Daily inspection of responsible equipment and machinery for proper function and promptly report any issues to department management
  • In order to achieve business objectives, work weeks in excess of 40 hours may be required; evening and weekend shifts may be required\
  • Abide by company policies
  • Other duties as assigned



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic Microsoft office skills
  • Operational knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment including but not limited to industrial vacuum systems, hand tools, power tools, coolant & transfer pumps, floats and controls


Working Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, machinery and equipment, and vibration.  The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.  While performing some job duties, there is a risk of electrical shock and other risks associated with a manufacturing environment.  Job duties may require work in high, precarious places, work in outside weather conditions, and exposure to extreme temperatures in some cases.  The noise level in the working environment is often loud.  Because of this environment and associated risks, use of job appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing is required.
