The Foreman will be responsible for: 

  • Managing start to finish applications
  • Assigning crew members to certain tasks based on their skill level
  • Checking all work completed everyday (if it’s not up to par have it redone)
  • Maintain an updated set of drawings for work completed and work to be completed. (this will be a big help in keeping track of the job)
  • Daily Status Reporting (keeping your PM and Supervisor in the loop as to how the project is going on a daily basis)
  • Taking notes on everything that is going on, on your site
  • Teaching your crew the Orion way to do certain tasks
  • Boosting moral (Tell people when they are doing a good job)
  • Be the boss (you are the decision maker. You are the one who knows what needs to be done and you are the one who leads the team)
  • Interfacing with the customer (you and your crew lead should be the only ones interacting with the customers)
  • Be willing to get dirty
  • Pride in everything you do as a team and individually


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Available to work day or nights shifts when needed
  • 5-10 years of experience as a technician, running crews in construction or installations
  • Working knowledge of Access Control required
  • Ability to work on the security-type projects outside of Access Control
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting CCTV, maglocks and door strikes preferred
  • Government issued clearance preferred
  • OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Minimum Physical Job Requirements:

  • Able lift 60 pounds or more
  • Ability to work efficiently in confined space environments.
  • Able to climb ladders, scaffolding and work at heights
  • Able to frequently bend, sit, and stand for long periods of time
  • Able to crawl into small and/or confined spaces
  • Good communication skills and follow through required

Pay Range: Pay based on your level of experience and past performance
