This manager works closely with company-wide stakeholders to set the strategy and direction of the JTVAuctions.com website.
Manages the team who provides subject matter expertise in the operations of the Auction sales channel. From a management perspective, this individual provides direction on administration of the Auction sales channel, works with other teams to help drive Auction sales, conversion, channel sales goals.
Manages the site as an Auction channel for Jewelry Television providing feedback on the best use and opportunities that the channel offers.
Monitors the site for sales performance and improvements, looking for opportunities to increase site sales and conversion.
Analyzes performance of auctions by merchandise department, auction type, and auction duration to make informed decisions about inventory needs and auction scheduling.
Works with Buyers, Planning, Inventory Planning to manage the cadence of inventory flowing from JTV.com to JTVAuctions.com.
Drives and recommends the prioritization of the product features and site roadmap. Manages site product initiatives as the business owner from concept through implementation.
Leads the Auction team with use of tools including site from on site search, product placement, and auction type. Working to make sure the right product is available at the right time.
Develop customer experience best practices through competitive reviews and research.
Provide a creative mind set for improving customer experience and increasing traffic to grow the Auction sales channel.
Based on the understanding of JTV customers identify new opportunities to target users in order to drive new business.
Work with the E-Commerce Business Intelligence group to improve site performance visibility.
Working with Buyers on any strategies to supplement inventory through closeout buys. Providing those buyers with specifics of performance and volume by merchandise category.
Working with Customer Care to monitor customer feedback and questions.
Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
2 years Management experience in E-Commerce, inventory planning or product merchandising
2 to 5 years experience in the customer/client service field
Ability to lead employees in a fast-paced environment
