The Role of:  Seasonal Customer Service Specialist

Department: Ecommerce Contact Center

Reports To: Ecommerce Contact Center Senior Manager

Do you like helping people? Are you looking for a seasonal position that lasts through the holidays? Do you have internet and want to work from home?

If yes, Calendars.com is the place for you. Our Seasonal Customer Service Specialists provide multi-channel support via chat, email and phone throughout the upcoming holiday season.  Paid training classes for these seasonal positions start in August and extend through early November.  The work schedule will require weekend work and overtime, especially in early December. Hours scheduled are based on tenure and business need. While traditionally this position has been onsite at our offices at 6411 Burleson Road in Austin TX, it will be fully teleworking for this season. We are considering candidates who are within the greater Austin area as equipment needs to be collected in person.

  • Create great customer experiences 
  • Process phone and chat orders and answer product inquiries
  • Assist customers with order, account and website issues 
  • Maintain and grow knowledge of products, promotions, and sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
  • Support the mission statement and core values (commitment, integrity, openness) of Go Retail Group, at all times

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude
  • Productive, professional and courteous manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent grammar
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to type at least 30-40 WPM
  • Ability to accomplish tasks in the most timely and efficient manner
  • Multi-tasking, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Openness to receiving frequent feedback and incorporating it into daily work
  • Internet connection and quiet space to work at home

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months contact center experience
