Automotive Service Assistant Manager - Hyundai of North Charleston

Job Description

The Assistant Service Manager is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to customers by selling tires and automotive service, road hazard, recommended services, benefits and product features, create long-term loyalty bonds with customers, drive sales and profitability of the store, communicate and manage repair orders to technicians and maintain a clean and well merchandised store. Associates will explain warranties, options, pricing, benefits and services to customers and potential customers. Additional responsibilities include presenting tire products and automotive service to customers while developing retail merchandising skills in order to provide professional, timely and courteous customer service. Candidates MUST have automotive repair and tire sales experience

 

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in Automotive.
  • Ability to lift an object weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Valid and clean driver's license is required
  • Be able to pass background check and drug test
  • High school diploma or GED, prefer some college
  • Demonstrate a high level of energetic responsiveness to every customer, on the phone or in the store.
  • Listen closely to each customer's needs, document and determine the best possible response and solution.
  • Communicate accurately with technicians, colleagues, managers and customers.

  • Miscellaneous duties, maintaining the show room, when busy and if needed mount tires and change oil

 

Job Type: Full-time. Signing bonus

 

Experience:

  • Automotive: 5 years (Required)
  • Tire sales: 2 years (Preferred)
