Pricing Analyst

Omnicell’s Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in the facilitation of the company’s sales and financial initiatives.  This dynamic role will be part of Omnicell’s Sales Finance Team and will work extensively with sales, finance, and marketing. Omnicell is looking for candidates with strong financial/business acumen, high-impact communication, with excellent assignment and resource management skills. The candidate will also need to effectively manage commercial discussions, be an active learner, and be able to build and maintain trusting relationships. This position involves working closely with Sales Leadership, Sales Development, Field Sales, Marketing, and Finance.  This role will be responsible for driving deal profitability, assisting with complex deal structuring, contract cycle & sales velocity acceleration, analyzing regional contractual trends and managing cross functional deal review groups.

  • Consultative collaboration on complex deal structuring, trade negotiations, and non-standards.
  • Management of contract negotiations, price offerings and monitoring of adherence to Omnicell’s revenue recognition guidelines
  • Orchestration of leasing, 3rd Party Financing opportunities and Lender relationships
  • Consistent performance to optimize contract cycle time and meet or exceed regional profitability metrics
  • Application of appropriate GPO / CMA price lists for applicable transactions
  • Communication to Sales, Finance and Marketing regional pricing and profitability trends
  • Review and approval of opportunities and pricing in accordance with the company’s guidelines
  • Deal P&L analysis and review
  • Tracking and analysis of contract cycle time, sales velocity and sales productivity trends
  • Talent & career development – training/ cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participation in new initiatives, including proposed deal models, pricing tools and new product contracting
  • Cross-functional collaboration to identify process improvement needs

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Related experience in a healthcare manufacturing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to convey clear, concise messages to internal and external customers
  • Ability to understand and learn the technical accounting rules regarding revenue recognition
  • Proficient at executing multiple concurrent/competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple functions and diverse personality styles
  • Experience in leading, influencing, negotiating and problem solving
  • Ability to review and articulate capital and operational transactions
  • Highly motivated
  • Preferable experience with SAP, Salesforce.com and T-Value
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office products
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
  • Strategic agility and strong analytical skills

Basic Qualifications

  • B.A/B.S Degree
  • 4+ years of experience in an Accounting, Finance-related field or Sales support / Operations-based role

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.A/B.S in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years of experience in an Accounting, Finance-related field or Sales support / Operations-based role within the healthcare industry

Work Conditions
