Thermoformer Operator - 3rd shift


Description

Thermoformer Operator – 3rd shift 

Omnicell is currently hiring a  Thermoformer Operator – 3nd shift ( Sunday through Thursday 10 pm – 6 am)    The Thermoformer Operator will set up and run a thermoforming machine. The operator will identify, troubleshoot and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the operation of the companies Thermoforming equipment

  • Assuring that the correct product is being produced

  • Meeting all quality standards

  • Responsible for the Thermoforming assistant

  • Assure that the Assistant follows all quality standards and company policy.

     

    Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers and team members.  

  • Ability to effectively interface and communicate with multiple constituents, including management, and fellow coworkers.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to be organized and prioritize work assignments

  • Ability to accept constructive criticism from supervisor. 

  • Knowledge of working with rigid plastic.

  • Knowledge with Zed, Atlas, Illig, and Sencorp Thermoformers

  • Ability to understand basic written & verbal instructions.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices

     

  • Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ experience in a thermoforming environment

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Ability to work Sunday through Thursday 10 pm – 6 am.

     

  • Physical Requirements:

  • Speak clearly and listen (hearing).

  • Stand, sit, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.

  • Able to lift 60 pounds.

  • Able to lift 25 pounds – 35 pounds repetitively.

  • Move rolls of Plastic/Board/Foil/Liner/Label Stock – 400 pounds – 1000 pounds (rolling material on their diameter).

  • Move skids weighing up to 2,500 pounds with the use of mechanical and or powered rolling stock. (pallet jacks)

     

Work Conditions:

Warehouse Environment wearing steel toe shoes

Overtime as assigned and other tasks as required
