 Engineer V, Software

 

POSITION DUTIES:

 

Lead a team of software developers to research, design, develop and validate new systems and solutions that are crucial to the organizational objectives.  Develop creative and achievable solutions for complex problems while focused on key project milestones and deliverables.  Create and maintain frameworks for server and client products.  Design and implement creative solutions to unusually complex systems.  Define framework vision and roadmap for server and client products.  Lead software engineers to adhere to software engineering disciplines and drive continuous improvement of product quality.  Support the Agile Product Owners with feasibility analysis, architectural decisions, and estimates required for product.  Maintain close communications with parallel development teams to develop and follow product integration standards.  Responsible for understanding the various hospital workflows and maximizing value delivery to the feature teams that consume the framework.  Responsible for emerging technology trend, evaluating and recommending specific technologies.

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

 3 years of experience in the position offered or related occupation.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in the position offered or related occupation.

 

OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Leading software design and development; designing architectures for entire system, client, server, web etc.; object oriented software design; C# and .NET design patterns; product development of responsive Web applications; Unit Testing strategy; product development using Web API, WPF and Entity Framework, Dapper, RabbitMQ, Azure Cloud Technologies; communication protocols including FTP, Socket, MSMQ, HTTP, etc.; and Agile development process.
