Application and Connectivity Manager (Systems Integration Manager)

This position will report directly to the Sr. Director, International Operations, and will lead a team of interface engineers, software and workflow consultants based across International. Responsible for managing product IT and interface development across all solutions.  This is a mixture of hands on development (70%) and driving product Interoperability strategy (30%) . This position will drive deployment of the Omnicell data platform across international markets.



  • Direct, schedule, prioritize and monitor activities of the team, ensure alignment with business priorities and strategy.
  • Oversee development of interfaces and deployment of software solutions
  • Act as escalation point for issues related to product IT, interfaces, software solutions, and third party software.
  • Provide feedback on product computer system specifications and implementation in product development process.
  • Good level of understanding modular software design methodologies & architectures.
  • Good level of understanding of Microsoft’s SQL data bases
  • Excellent understanding of the business process analysis and integration development methodology
  • Ability to clearly document customer requirements as it relates to using integration engines to connect systems
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills with an ability to rapidly resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Knowledge of and experience with data exchange formats – HL7, EDI, XML, etc
  • Knowledge of industry systems such as EHR, CPOE/EPMA, HL7, ERP, EMAR etc
  • Demonstrated integration test successes


  • Over 5 years of experience working in a similar role with strong experience in healthcare.
  • Over 2 years of management experience (preferable with remote teams across large geographies)
  • Proven ability in fast learning of specific requirements of complex operations 
  • Persuasive and effective communication skills.
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% of time between regional offices
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent



  • Programming proficiency in a high-level language (Java, C#, JavaScript, C, C++)
  • Previous and substantial experience in a healthcare/medical device company
  • Familiarity with working with PHI and confidential data products a plus
  • Experience with the Pharmacy IT domain
  • Ability to speak French/German highly advantageous.
