Manager, Training International


Description

 

International Training Manager

The International Training Manager is a key leadership role and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective Training Programs and Processes to assure that personnel within all assigned sites are equipped with the knowledge, understanding and training to successfully execute their responsibilities. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all Training Programs and Processes are in compliance with local, national and international regulations and standards. The International Training manager will also be responsible for the development of customer training programs and associated materials.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective Training Programs and Processes
  • Develop and deploy product specific customer training programs
  • Ensure that all aspects of the training programs are compliant to all applicable regulations and standards as well as internal policies and processes and corporate requirements
  • Develop relevant metrics to monitor the compliance and effectiveness of the training system 
  • Manages and monitors the effectiveness of training programs
  • Manage the Training Master Plan, with harmonized, sustainable approaches for first time and refresher training using a role-based curriculum.
  • Drives improvements to the NPS through constant monitoring and improvement of customer feedback.
  • Key contributor to the product launch team to define launch training requirements for personnel and customers.
  • Act as a training subject matter expert as needed and provide proactive and reactive support in response to problems
  • Liaise and co-operate with other regions.

Essential

  • Over 5 years of working within a training/development and deploying competency based training programs
  • Certification or advanced learning in an area such as training effectiveness, adult learning principles, trainer qualification, Six Sigma, and/or Lean is preferred
  • Proven ability in fast learning of specific requirements of complex operations 
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees within the organization and external suppliers, Ability to influence others at different levels in a matrix organization
  • Ability to effectively present information to public groups, operations personnel, technical personnel and Sr. Management
  • Persuasive and effective communication skills.
  • Must be fluent in English and be able to read and write at an accomplished level. 
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% of time between regional offices

Desirable

  • Previous and substantial experience in a healthcare/medical device company
  • Qualifications/Experience in the area of Nursing/Pharmacy
  • Ability to speak French/German highly advantageous.
