Product Marketing Manager


Description

Product Marketing Manager (Medication Adherence)

Are you a Product Marketing Manager who is keen on enhancing your current skills in a dynamic environment, a people person with can-do attitude? At Omnicell, the product marketing role will support the development and tactical delivery of our UK product development strategy for the medication adherence division of the business. This includes consumables, automation and software.

Essential Functions:

  • Create value propositions and key messages for new products that reflect current and future market changes, demands and pressures.
  • Manage from conception to market, new product developments and software utilising internal processes and working with external suppliers where appropriate.
  • Manage the medication adherence consumable product life cycle and keep abreast of market and competitor developments and activities.
  • Manage the customer consumable artwork process.
  • Develop a comprehensive tender response library, monitor, track up and coming tenders.  Working with the sales team, manage new tender and framework submissions.
  • Develop key customer reference sites for our products, agree contracts and oversee the management of those sites to ensure high quality and satisfaction.
  • Project manage all trial sites ensuring that business objectives are agreed and measured throughout the project and finally working with sales to support the customer in the preparation of their business case.
  • Manage and conduct customer benefits analysis as required.
  • Organise and manage customer user groups and focus groups to ensure the business listens to our customers and responds to feedback and learnings
  • Manage all customer and market acceptance testing on beta products and report back to the senior product marketing manager with ‘to market’ recommendations.
  • Identify, organise and manage customer and product research as required.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience of product management and research in a related field <essential>
  • Experience of managing projects <essential>
  • Experience of producing clear, accurate reports within tight deadlines. <essential>
  • Knowledge of product marketing <essential>
  • Knowledge of the NHS, Pharmaceutical and Care home industry <essential>
  • Experience of working directly with customers <desirable>
  • The successful candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team. <essential> 
  • Computer literate with ability relevant software packages. <essential>
  • Preferably degree/or equivalent education. <desirable>
  • Must be comfortable working in a challenging role and be able to work under pressure. <essential>

Work Conditions:

  • Office and customer site environment
  • Candidate must be able to travel within the UK
