Senior Data Scientist

Ateb, An Omnicell Company, has an exciting new opportunity available for a Senior Data Scientist. The Senior Data Scientist contributes to campaign design, database and datamart development (SAS), statistical modeling of campaign data associated with Pharmacy Patient behavior. Investigate methodologies for automation, process standardization and improvement to boost productivity and reliability. Provide statistical modeling and BI solutions to analyze pharmacy patient behavior data. The position’s purpose is to enhance productivity of analyses that are standard, and develop new ground toward new methods. Database diagnostics and problem solving skills are essential.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Mine and translate data into meaningful insight
  • Answer key business questions by using analytical and statistical techniques on data
  • Analyze, interpret & communicate the results of analytical solutions
  • Evaluate and optimize data analyzing methodologies, techniques and processes
  • Develop applications and modeling solutions to support the strategic goals of the company
  • Perform advanced analytics to support executive level decision making.
  • Provide consultative and analytic support on business issues

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient in SAS programing including macros, SQL, ODS and graph
  • Demonstrated work experience with R, Tableau and Unix command
  • Ability to mine and translate data into business insights
  • Ability to perform advanced SQL programing in Postgres or other database environment
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in BI reporting using customized dashboard
  • Experience in conducting outcome evaluation for marketing campaigns
  • Experience in providing strategic marketing solutions to retain customer loyalty

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or Operations Research.
  • Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated work experience base programming with SAS
  • Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated work experience using advanced predictive modeling
  • SAS base certification  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAS advanced certification
  • Experience in initiating analytic solutions for the retail, pharmacy, banking or other industries.
