Engineer IV, Software Quality


OmniCenter Services team is looking for a senior level hands-on automation engineer to enhance our testing and automation capabilities in the Mountain View, CA location. In this role, you will be responsible for designing automation framework, developing, and executing automated tests in our pursuit of continuous improvement towards product quality and customer experience.



  • Design and development of test plans, test cases along with defect management, tracking and triage.
  • Create and maintain automation testing framework for services and web UI testing.
  • Automate testing and certifying software modules with a high-quality standard
  • Create performance and security test plans, test scripts and generate the result
  • Generate the test data sets for functional automation, performance and security testing
  • Participate on an Agile scrum team, performing peer reviews and mentoring less experienced team members

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent working knowledge of testing methodologies and strategies, including: black box, grey box, and white box testing; feature, functional, continuous integration, and regression testing.
  • Demonstrated ability in increasing functional test coverage (API) and enhancing test frameworks (scalability, reliability).
  • Experience in testing architectures including microservices, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with web client applications built on the Microsoft Windows platform.
  • Strong white box testing skills. Experience with testing web services with tools such Postman
  • Ability to define/design/develop/maintain test automation frameworks and test cases
  • Excellent working knowledge and expertise on programming using Java AND front-end technologies.
  • Thorough understanding of application lifecycle management tools such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and GIT.
  • Firm understanding and knowledge of databases
  • Passionate about software quality and test architecture. Must be able to review specifications and design thorough test coverage.
  • Firm understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum based testing including peer review, test automation, continuous integration.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while remaining on-task and deadline oriented. .
  • Proven skills in data analysis, data/design verification, and problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in working with SQE community to set company-wide SQE standards and practices.
  • Experience training and mentoring manual and junior SQE members on automation testing

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Computer Science
  • 6 years+ of full-stack Software Engineering Testing experience

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • M.S. Degree in Computer Science
  • MS SQL Server exp
  • Expertise on programming using C#
  • Healthcare industry experience
