Description

Software Engineer, Intern

Provide internship for upper-level undergraduate or graduate students to participate in software development and related project activities

Essential Functions:

In order to work effectively as a Software Engineer Intern, the position is expected to:

  • Include software development
  • Design
  • Documentation
  • Testing.
  • Work with Software Quality team and Development Team to create automated unit tests for newly developed software
  • Work with Engineering Manager to develop product specifications
  • Work with Engineering Manager, Engineering Team and Quality Team to ensure adequate test case coverage is in place to ensure new product development quality

Required Knowledge and Skills:

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • 4th year (or higher) Computer Science study
  • C# .Net and/or SQL Server Software Development
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, cooperative
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008
  • Microsoft Office

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • B.S. Computer Science (or equivalent)

  • Regular work hours at a desk
