Senior PLM Analyst


Description

 

Senior PLM Analyst:

Omnicell is currently recruiting for a Senior PLM Analyst to work at our corporate headquarters located in Mountain view, CA.  The Senior PLM Analyst will report to the Director Applications, Information Technology and will be responsible for the administrator for all cloud services and the functional support for all Oracle Agile PLM Cloud related Cloud tasks.  As a member of the IT team and the subject matter expert (SME) for Agile PLM Cloud, this hands-on position is also responsible for the implementation and solution design. Willingness to learn and take on other responsibilities. 

Responsibilities:

  • In this role, the PLM Analyst will be the Administrator of Agile Cloud Services.
  • Interacts with the system to perform data maintenance, configures the system to meet the business requirements and works with end-users.
  • Centralize communication between Oracle Cloud and Omnicell IT and business.
  • Access to Cloud Notifications and manage contacts who receive outage notifications from cloud.oracle.com.
  • Monitor utilization & uptime from cloud.oracle.com.
  • Manage and coordinate monthly patching and update regression testing.
  • Negotiate and coordinate the Upgrade schedule for the organization.
  • Coordinate testing, training, and communications.
  • Identifies the customer's need, problem or opportunity through the use of interviews, document analysis, and requirements workshops.
  • Act as an advocate for Product Lifecycle Management best practices, methods, and processes.
  • When not working on an improvement to PLM, performs other duties as necessary in support of the business. This will include assisting in the functional support of SAP Material Management (MM) module or other applications (training will be provided if needed).
  • Ability to liaise with business and IT teams and act as an internal IT point of contact for PLM implementation projects
  • Document process flows and operating instructions for business execution team.
  • Participate in and help drive functional and technical design specifications.
  • Identify integration issues and develop solutions to these issues.
  • Continually strive to enhance or improve business systems processes that drive efficiency through use of best practices
  • Identify system problems and determine necessary resolution.
  • Work with SAP team to write business and technical specifications.
  • Execute quality assurance from test definition through assessment sign off.
  • Provide end user training and on-going user support during implementation and after go-live date.
  • Follow applicable standards, procedures, guidelines, and methodologies in the support and/or maintenance of systems
  • Stay abreast of current trends, literature, and technologies around PLM
  • Understand the existing application architecture and support the interfaces between PLM and other systems.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Managed access to My Oracle Support (MOS) which included logging SRs and utilizing MOS to manage Service Requests.
  • Knowledge of Customer User Administration (CUA):
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Demonstrate the ability to adjust to changes in customer demands or operational goals
  • Results oriented and can demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
  • Strong teamwork with peers with a consultative solution approach.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective team player and/or mentor/coach
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Excellent customer services orientation and experience in business-related interactions

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree
  • Oracle Support Level 1 Accreditation
  • 3+ years’ experience with Agile PLM (Oracle Cloud PLM Cloud Service)
  • Completion of 1 full life cycle implementation of Oracle Cloud PLM Cloud Service.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP MM experience a big plus
  • Oracle Support Level 2 Accreditation
  • 5+ years’ experience of Agile PLM (Oracle Cloud PLM Cloud Service)
