Description

Logistics Analyst

The logistics specialist is responsible for working under the direction of the supply chain manager to ensure that all billable outbound traffic of the company, including frame shipments, spare parts, option items, and international shipments is properly quoted and billed to the customer and custom declaration is done accurately.

Essential Functions:

In order to work effectively as a Logistics Specialist, the position is expected to:

  • Plan, co-ordinate and provide updates for Insite orders
  • Identify problems and develop recommendations relating to bill of materials
  • Work on improving information in Agile and SAP regarding inactive and obsolete parts
  • Support orders and provide updated status and any necessary changes needed
  • Assist and support the field with present information and respond to questions
  • Communicate with the field operations group
  • Provide cost /service analysis to optimize freight spends
  • Help develop processes and procedures related to logistics operations
  • Update Agile and SAP with the most correct information
  • provide custom declaration and documents

Required Knowledge and Skills:

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • High School Graduate
  • Minimum of 3 years works experience involving Bills of material, Inventory Control , shipment and custom declaration
  • International Logistic experience
  • Document Control 
  • ECO

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

professional diploma as a logistic / shipment clerk (German: Speditionskaufmann/-frau, Kaufmann im Groß- und Außenhandel e.a.)
