Senior Manager, Production

Omnicell, Inc as a dynamic opportunity for a Senior Manager, Production to join our Manufacturing Team in St. Petersburg, FL.  The Senior Manager, Production will report to the Sr. Director Manufacturing and will be responsible for performing planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing processes and resources;  leading production staff to ensure high Quality, low cost and On-time delivery to our valued customers; and driving Continuous Improvement activities to enhance Safety and production efficiency.  

Essential Functions:

  • Create an engaging and innovative work environment that fosters close collaboration among team members, career growth, and excellence in achieving operational results
  • Direct the development and implementation of activities in production, warehouse and receiving areas to meet all goals, quality, and cost objectives
  • Continuous Improvement champion for STP Consumable manufacturing.  Drive and manage quality and efficiency improvements through the supply chain.  Relentless passion for Safety, product quality, cost and customer satisfaction (On-time delivery)
  • Drive root cause failure analysis and execute corrective action plans
  • Manage production and material handling personnel while driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Meet shipment requirements for on time availability of consumables based on customer requested land dates
  • Ensure production and warehouse floor policies, procedures and work instructions are maintained and followed
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly production metrics
  • Manage and execute ISO9001 & ISO14001 compliance and requirements
  • Manage and execute production scope of the Consumable NPI process.
  • Active participant representing STP on the Environmental Committee executing quarterly metrics and team projects
  • Active participant representing STP on the Health and Safety Team, managing production health & safety issues and concerns
  • Management and leadership representation for STP Business Continuity Planning

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment
  • Strong MRP knowledge
  • Strong abilities in creating motivation, integrity, and responsibility within a team
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Ability to resolve escalating customer issues (both internal and external) in a collaborative, partnering and professional manner

Work Conditions:

  • Production, Warehouse, and Office environment
  • Frequent and constant deadlines
  • Limited travel

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years’ experience in production related function
  • Front line supervisor experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6-Sigma Black Belt
  • Lean QMS experience
  • Supply chain experience
  • SAP, Agile, Access, Excel & Tableau
  • Flexographic printing background
