POSITION TITLE:

 

Engineer II, Software Quality (ID# 5183)

 

 

POSITION DUTIES:

 

Design and execute manual and automate level tests using Agile Methodology. Perform and participate in all aspects of verification including requirements gathering, feature and functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, load and performance testing, and automation testing. Design and implement test plans and test cases as per ISO and FDA standards. Work collaboratively with management, development, and Software Quality Engineers in producing quality products utilizing best practice methodology and technology, executing manual testing tasks and automation test scripts, report bugs, regress and close bugs, and proactively solving problems and suggesting process improvements. Work with other team members to identify and automate test cases, contribute to the improvement and refinement of testing practices, and participate in team meetings, identify potential risks, provide timely and accurate feedback and proactively bring about appropriate interventions. Interact with geographically distributed teams in delivering high quality products. Create metrics and status reports and work with development team members to analyze the code coverage and use this knowledge to enhance test scenarios and test coverage.

 

 

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:

 

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

 

 

OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Software testing; Scrum and Agile methodology; Testing methodologies and strategies including: black box, grey box, and white box testing; feature, functional, integration, and regression testing; load, stress, and performance testing; Creation test documentation using ISO and FDA standards; Automation testing tools including QTP, Ranorex, VSTS automation test add-in, and C#; Writing and modifying Test Cases and Test Scenarios in compliance with the requirement and functionality and executing Test cases in adherence to test plan; IIS, MSMQ, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS; Microsoft server and client Operating Systems.  Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies.
