Sales Finance and Contracts Manager


Description

Sales Finance and Contracts Manager

Sales Finance Manager reports to Sr. Manager - Sales Finance and will be a key contributor in supporting international commercial operations, pricing, contract management and support business planning, forecasting and analysis of Omnicell International businesses. The position will be a key support for regional GMs, deal desk and booking desk providing critical support for key business activities. The position will have very close interface with Business Finance and operations teams. This position will also support significant internal process re-engineering and system enhancement projects.     

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support International Business for all deal desk, contract management and deal approval processes.
  • Support deal processes from deal pricing, margins, credit check, master creation, quotations, POs to invoicing
  • Act as the key contact for revenue recognition and accounting guidance for contracts
  • Act as Key finance support for RFPs, Tenders and contract reviews for various segments
  • Support service contract renewal and contract management support
  • Renew service support contracts for all customers
  • Provide authoritative guidance to Field Service management on goals and objectives relating to contract activity.
  • Managing a centralized contract library for all Service & Support/Distributors for the International business
  • Engage in ad-hoc analysis / special projects.                                                                         

Necessary Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Ability to read and interpret various contracts and highlight key accounting and revenue recognition implications to the leadership team
  • Must be an organized thinker with a strong process background and excellent analytical skills
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff 
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a team
  • Possess extreme attention to detail and produce accurate work
  • Have strong work ethic, patience and customer service orientation

Basic Requirements:

  • At least 3 – 5 years of demonstrable Commercial/ Financial / Business operations support experience
  • Grasp at linking Business/market variables with financial models

Preferred Requirements:

  • 7 to 10 years of demonstrable experience with contract management and Business Operations experience
  • Strong operations/commercial /finance background
  • Strong contract review and contract management skills
  • High degree of excel modelling skills
  • Prior experience working with both SAP and TM1
