Installation and Product trainer

We have an exciting opportunity for a pharmacy technician/ nurse / IT engineer to become our technical expert and product trainer for our dispensing cabinet range.

You will join our operation team who take great pride in their work and have a passion building upon long term relationships with customers. You will be continually challenged as you will be exposed to new technologies. You will receive constant support and guidance from senior management and your technical knowledge will be further enhanced through your work.

Essential Functions and roles:

This is a very varied role which includes installing, configuring, setting up the Omnicell software, testing and validating our solutions. As a product trainer, you will train our clients and users (pharmacist and pharmacy technicians, nurses and head nurse, IT staff) :

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the project manager in order to fulfill the installation tasks and training
  • Design and manage training programs
  • Train the pharmacy staff and the final direct users (mainly nurses)
  • Promote best practices for Omnicell products
  • Setup and test Omnicell software, configure the machines in the customers’ environment
  • Participate to the physical cabinet installation and tailor the hardware to the clients’ order.
  • Document and update user manual and other documents

 

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • At least 2 years’ post graduate/qualification type experience in a clinical or materials management environment.
  • Training skills in the hospital environment (training on software or technical products would be ideal)
  • Expérience in deployment of new software tools (knowledge of Warehouse Management System or Electronic prescription solution)
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft tools (MS Excel, Ms Word or MS Project or Ms Access)
  • Strong IT skills would be a plus (Windows Server, remote access, Putting PCs in a network, Database queries)
  • Ability to analyse training needs and lead training sessions
  • Curious and Hands on person (DYI, not afraid to take a screwdriver)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with customer and peers, with strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Totally motivated and able to work alone when required 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • A hands- on attitude and no problem approach  
  • Fluent French with excellent written skills
  • Good working knowledge in English

 

Work Conditions:

  • Mainly Field based with some office based activity.
  • Frequent travel with overnight stays in France.
  • Some international travel may be required.
