Senior Business Development Manager Public Health

Summary:

Responsible for the growth of the MA business and lead market development opportunities in International.

Essential Functions:

In order to work effectively as a Business development manager, the position is expected to:

  • Develop new market opportunities for public health (20%)
    • Select key markets for growth
    • Work with International GM to define the public health market opportunities for selected key markets
      • Determinate the legal restrictions/possibilities for Med Adherence in Key markets
      • Create execution plan for Omnicell International strategy pertaining to Public Health
      • How is the medication management funded in different markets, and who benefit from our solutions?
      • Determine what medication management solutions in the public domain are needed and what we can offer.
      • Market sizing & Competitive analysis
      • What is the value proposition we can offer per stakeholder?
    • Work with product management to develop the needed solutions. (Introduction roadmap)
      • Market sizing
      • Product/Solution requirements
      • Product/Solution design
      • Business case
      • Develop pricing strategy per country
  • Manage the introduction of MA solution(s) in (new) market (50%)
    • Work with marketing to introduce MA solutions into the market
      • Identify key geographies and markets to expand into
      • Develop the sales playbook for key market
      • Develop demo scripts
      • Develop sales materials
      • Educate the sales people (internal and external)
    • Work with GM/Distributor to make our solution standard of care
      • Develop studies, proof points and white papers to proof the benefit of the technology
      • Introduce the value proposition to stakeholders that can influence making our solution standard of care. (follow the money, and policy making)
    • Support the local organization to generate leads
      • Support field marketing in developing a promotion plan
      • Develop models for new products and markets
      • Support on sales and promotional events and give customer demonstrations
      • Monitor lead development, pipeline and take needed corrective actions
      • Organize special promotion campaigns
  • Sales support for new MA solution(s) (30%)
    • Work with salespeople
      • Understand the challenges/needs/requirement analysis of the customer
      • Position our solution for the customer
      • Development of the business case and ROI models for the customer
      • Defining the solution
      • Develop Pricing mechanisms and product positioning
      • Support answering questions/tender
      • Deploy sales playbook for new market entry


Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Education background
    • Pharmacy degree
  • Working experience
    • 5+ years of experience in international environment
    • Demonstrable experience business development
    • Demonstrable success in selling     

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Education background
    • Business administration
  • Working experience
    • 5+ years in experience in MA

Work Conditions:

  • Willing to travel in 60% of time
