Mars Hill Church’s mission is to plant churches and make disciples. We have grown from a small Bible study to over 12,000 weekly attenders to a network of 14 different churches in 4 states - Washington, Oregon, New Mexico, and California. In addition, Mars Hill Church launched the Mars Hill Network this year.  The Mars Hill Network is a sub-network within Acts 29 of like-minded churches who have aligned themselves with Mars Hill Church.  This is an invitation only network to large, growing churches which Mars Hill Church hopes to serve.

 

ROLE SUMMARY:  Duration: 18 Months

We are looking to fill the position of a Functional IT CRM Project Manager, who can demonstrate mastery of CRM business processes and how they can be implemented specifically with various business and ministry applications.  This key role will be responsible for critical work and/or complex projects enterprise-wide, may manage cross-functional project teams and covering multiple lines of ministry support functions and operational systems. They will partner with operational and ministry leaders and act as a liaison between IT, business units and technology suppliers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage complex large project or multiple small complex IT projects to successful completion.
  • Manage/lead activities of project team(s) including research, analysis, documentation, design/develop testing, problem resolution, training, status reporting, implementation, and post-rollout review/audit.
  • Monitor/evaluate project progress, maintain project documentation and develop presentations for communication.
  • Develop project plans and track deliverables.
  • Gather and document business and ministry requirements (as needed).
  • Coordination of software development life cycle.
  • Assemble system documentation.
  • Understand issues and communicate status.
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing and sales functions in product and service focused corporations and understanding of leading practices/trends in other industry sectors. 
  • Thorough knowledge and proficiency in CRM is required.  In addition to at least two of the following areas: customer relationship management; single view of customer data; benchmarking and metrics; change management.
  • Considerable experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
  • Thorough process analysis and design skills; functional knowledge of related tools (CRM required).    

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, plus 4-6 years progressive management experience, including management of major projects, in a large operating environment
  • PMP Certification required
  • Expert knowledge of SalesForce technology and applications
  • Expert knowledge of Radian 6
  • Superb project management skills 
  • Senior level experience with CRM Integration projects and methodologies desired
  • Experience with System Integration projects
  • Experienced in a Business Analyst role
  • Possess ability to manage project schedule, identify assumptions, risks, and constraints along with dependencies on other projects
  • Work with multiple partners within the organization
  • Ability to travel 10-20% may be required

  • Self-starter and proven team player in a small, entrepreneurial team within a larger company. Must have strong understanding of project management, plan creation, scheduling, and execution a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Strong writing skills with the ability to write clearly and quickly, to reinforce goals and objectives to leadership, project and creative teams.

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday plus Sunday responsibilities

Hours: Full Time, exempt

Location: Central Offices |  Seattle, WA 

Vacation: Two weeks vacation, one week personal, plus one week from Christmas to New Years
