Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for the processing and servicing of operational support functions. Ensures that all functions are accurately performed in accordance with established policies and procedures as well as adherence to governmental regulations. Completes required reports, file maintenance and related record keeping duties as required. Performs audits and IRA contribution distributions, transfers and rollovers. Assists with overseeing legal processing to include subpoenas, garnishments and levies. Researches and resolves moderately complex operational, branch and member issues and ensures that errors and discrepancies are resolved and appropriate follow-up is completed. Provides suggestions for improvement to ensure processing effectiveness and efficiency are attained and delivered. Assists in developing policies, procedures and standards for the Operations Support Department. Ensures that internal and external members are promptly and professionally served.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • At least two years of related experience in Operations Support or the equivalent.
  • Thorough understanding of banking or credit union operations, policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of MS Windows (i.e. MS, Word and Excel) to effectively utilize multiple software systems.
  • Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks/projects by prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
  • Good math and typing skills.
