Position Summary:

Responsible for providing account information, interviewing, and opening accounts for members and professionally handling the member’s needs.  Provides a variety of transaction services to members include receiving, reviewing, and processing applications for consumer, conventional mortgage, home equity, credit card, and overdraft account loans.  Meets with applicants to explain credit policies and to obtain loan information and documentation.  Assembles loan applications and coordinates appraisals for loans that meet initial lending criteria and are within approved lending limits.  Ensures that sales goals are met according to credit union objectives and members and prospective members are promptly and professionally served.


  • Requires at least one year of Teller or cash handling experience and knowledge of negotiable items 
  • The preferred candidate must have good communication skills and a basic understanding of Credit Union operations 
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
