You are… an Accounts Payable Specialist who can: 

  • Set up new vendors in PeopleSoft and update vendor information as necessary
  • Receive and process purchase orders
  • Research and resolve past due balances
  • Prepare "Confirmation to Pay" and "Scheduled to Pay" reports on a weekly basis
  • Ensure first of month checks are processed on a timely basis
  • Scan and index accounting documents, including purchase orders, vendor set-up forms, etc.
  • Assist with month-end close, including follow-up on pending purchase orders and reviewing activity for the BPO accrual
  • Corresponds with vendors as necessary and respond to payment inquiries
  • Enters zero vouchers as needed
  • Assists in year-end 1099 processing

You have…

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable or other relevant accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Prior experience with accounting software, preferably PeopleSoft
