Summer Account Internship— Washington, DC

In our 30+ years, we’ve helped elect presidents; fought for stricter regulations on tobacco, drunk driving and carbon emissions; united foster children with their forever families; and helped bring health coverage to all Americans.   

Our mission:  to create real and lasting positive change in the world.  And between our D.C. home base and our Seattle, WA office you’ll find all the know-how and drive to create advocacy campaigns that deliver real results.

We aresocial and digital strategists, comms and advertising gurus, designers, writers, media planners and multi-media producers.

What is the internship?

  • 9-week comprehensive internship program that runs from the beginning of June until the beginning of August
  • Weekly trainings on learning the ropes of the agency world— broadcast production, media buying, digital engagement & earned media to name a few.
  • Our internship opportunities are paid
  • Account Strategy: Gain valuable hands on experience to support a variety of political and social campaigns including press clip compilation, media pitching, database management, campaign launch logistics and administrative support – all in a fun, fast-paced environment.  Account opportunities range from education to global health to political strategy.

You...

  • Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or a recent graduate in a related field 
  • Have previous media/communications experience or interest (preferred, but not required)
  • Have strong writing and research skills
  • Are available for full time employment this summer (40 hours per week) from June 5, 2017, to August 4, 2017.
