Description and Responsibilities:
This position will support a host of system engineering duties. The preferred candidate will have recent and relevant experience with full life cycle system/software engineering to include requirements derivation, requirements analysis, hardware knowledge, metrics creation and analysis, systems architecture, and experience with integration and test. This position will also require recent and relevant experience with network engineering and a firm understanding of information assurance and security.
8 years of experience
Must have strong communication skills, briefing experience, familiarity with dynamic resource allocation, and experience with AGILE and Waterfall methodologies.
Linux, Perl, Python, OpenStack, Cinder, HPSS
• Knowledge of current technologies
• Knowledge customer data space
• Perl/Python/Shell scripting experience
• Proficiency with Linux
• Familiarity with OpenStack or similar virtualization technology
• Experience with big storage
• Experience with COTS/GOTS
• Networking experience
• Experience with CM
• Baseline 8570 Certification
Work is typically based in a quiet office environment or electronics research lab. Business work hours for this position are based solely on the requirements of the program. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.
May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
