BFM Program Analyst - IWS 2.0 & 6.0


Job Description: Cydecor is looking for an IWS 2.0 & 6.0 BFM Program Analyst to provide business and financial management support for ongoing efforts of the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS). PEO IWS leads a professional and experienced organization that delivers Enterprise solutions for Naval Warfare Systems in the areas of Air Defense, Missile Defense, Undersea Warfare, Anti-Submarine Warfare, and Anti-Surface Warfare. Collectively, this team must provide effective and suitable deliveries of integrated warfare systems and technology, installed on a variety of platforms. Currently, PEO IWS is focused on enhancing mission capability across the surface fleet and submarine community with faster, more affordable, and interoperable product upgrades. The Program Analyst provides BFM support to the contract effort as it relates to IWS 2.0 (Above Water Sensors) & 6.0 (Command and Control). The Program Analyst supports the full range of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) as implemented in the DoD, Navy, and NAVSEA.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides a wide-range of BFM support to the development process of Above Water Sensors (2.0) and Command and Control (6.0).
  • Support financial and business management operations using NAVSEA financial tools in the functional areas of budget execution and reporting. Financial tools include: STARS, PRISMS, PBIS, and N-ERP.
  • Assist with management of budget allocations from the NAVSEA Comptroller to PEO IWS, the Responsible Cost Center, and its inherent programs in various business information technology systems such as PRISMS and N-ERP.
  • Support program planning with N-ERP to include creating/changing/maintaining fiscal year Budget Structures, Direct Projects, networks, and activities.
  • Assist in the day-to-day budget execution process by preparing, processing, and tracking status of funding documents.
  • Develop N-ERP roadmaps and assist with their implementation and execution and identify expected impacts to the PEO IWS organization.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field desired.
  • Demonstrated experience in DoD program management, Industry or Government technical management, or Industry or Government business management.  
  • Demonstrated experience with Navy financial systems (including ERP, PRISMS, STARS, PBIS, or other similar systems).
