Job Description: (Brief Summary/Statement)

Cydecor is seeking a Program/System Analyst II to provide project support planning, pertaining to engineering services, for Commander, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) and NECC Pacific (NECCPAC). The position will involve researching DoD, Fleet and Type Commander (TYCOM) guidance and innovative concepts and prioritizing science and technology objectives (STO)s.  The overall goal is to facilitate the transition and procurement of new equipment and technologies supporting NECC/NECCPAC capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Formulate/define and perform systems analysis and objectives for assigned projects.
  • Provide analysis, concept development and experimentation of capability.
  • Devise/modify procedures to solve complex military systems problems.
  • Implement computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems; designing and testing standards and solutions.

 

Education/Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant management discipline.
  • Six (6) years’ experience in Navy Expeditionary or DoD systems.
  • Technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
  • Working familiarity with DOD/DON 5000 series and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) policy and processes, including development of JCIDS capability documentation highly desirable.
  • Experience in DoD/DON technology transition management policies and practices highly desirable with related experience in both S&T and/or Defense Acquisition communities.
  • Project Management Degree, PMP or CAPM certification, or Master-level Professional Certification in applied project management desirable.
